Mondeo Mk 4 2.2 Cambelt change issues. I am currently in the process of changing the cambelt and waterpump on my 2008 MK 4. Its just done 100k and older than the 10 year recommended replacement interval. I have locked the timing in place with cam and flywheel pins, marked the old cam belt up before I removed it so I could transfer to new belt.

Changed the cam belt, aux belt and water pump and did the oil & filter at the same time. Cost of all the parts including anti-freeze was £170. Took about 4 hours total - a fairly straight forward DIY job.
